Anya Taylor-Joy

Anya Taylor Joy (born April 16th 1996) was born in Miami Florida. Dennis Alan Taylor is a retired banker, and Jennifer Marina Joy is a psychologist. The father of her was Argentine who had Scottish as well as English ancestry. Her mother is Spanish as well as English origin. The four siblings of Taylor-Joy are from her father's former marriage. Family resided in Buenos Aires up until Taylor-Joy was 6 years old, then moved to Victoria district in London. Taylor Joy stated that moving from Buenos Aires to Victoria was difficult, and she was not able to learn English in hopes of going home to Argentina. Hill House became her school preference after she was required to switch schools. In the following year, she joined Queen's Gate School to study ballet and act in school productions. Then she dropped out of high school at 16 to pursue an acting profession. Taylor-Joy had always wanted to be an actor. At the age of 16, Sarah Doukas Founder of Storm Management gave her the chance to be a model.
