Simone Biles

Simone Biles (born on March 14th, 1997 in Columbus, Ohio U.S.A.) American Gymnast considered one the sport's greatest athletes. The 2016 Olympics were held in Rio de Janeiro and Biles was one of the U.S.'s the first gymnast of female gender ever to be awarded four gold medals. She also claimed the title of world champion for all-around, three times in succession (2013-15). Biles was raised at Spring Texas in the Houston metropolitan area after she and her sister Adria were adopted by their parents Ronald and Nellie Biles. Simone began to take an interest in gymnastics at age six in a day-care field excursion at Bannon's Gymnastix and stayed there for 11 years, under the guidance of her trainer Aimee Boorman. Biles took home a medal for vaulting, and also a medal in floor during the 2010 Women's Junior Olympic National Championships. She began competing in elite levels of competition. In just two short years, she had become the most successful athlete in her discipline. Biles stood out because of her unstoppable performance enthusiastic attitude as well as the amount of effort she introduced throughout each competition--vault bar, uneven bars the balance beam, and the ground exercises.
