Harry Edward Styles or Harry Styles as he is known to the music world is a British singing and composing. Harry Styles belongs to the group One Direction. Based in Holmes Chapel in Cheshire England, Styles is the child of Des Styles & Anne Cox. Harry Styles attended the Holmes Chapel Comprehensive school, where, with three other students, he founded his own group of musicians, called White Eskimo. In 2009 they participated in the Battle of Bands where thanks to their impressive performances they took home the trophy. He always showed an interest in music but was enthused to be an attorney or a physical therapist. He was employed at the local bakery for a few hours to support his family financially. The year was 2010. Harry Styles presented audition for The X Factor where he did the track Is not She Lovely by Stevie Wonder and was selected. That's why his group broke up. Nicole Scherzinger told Harry Styles, Liam Payne Zayn Milik Niall Horan, and Louis Tomlinson that they would form an ensemble called One Direction after the X Test audition. Simon Cowell sponsored this five-person group and they were founded in the year 2010. The group sang songs such as My Life Would Suck Without You by Kelly Clarkson and Total Eclipse of the Heart by Bonnie Tyler so the group became one of the candidates to win the contest. But they came in third, a place behind Rebecca Ferguson. Harry Styles did not receive a prize, however Cowell offered a 2-million-pound deal with One Direction in order for them to join Syco Records.
