Andrea Joy Cook
A.J. Cook is a Canadian actor most well-known for his portrayal of Jennifer Jareau (JJ) on The Criminal Minds as well as The Virgin Suicides in 1999 and 2003, respectively. He is also famous for other characters. Cook's credits on TV comprise Dead Like Me (also known as Tru Calling), Higher Ground, Bluemoon and PSI Factor. Cook was brought up in Whitby by her father Mike who works as a teacher at school and her mother, Sandra she is a psychiatrist. She grew up with three siblings: Angela, Nathan and Paul. She was raised as an Mormon (or member) of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. In her early years, she picked dance classes, including ballet and jazz lessons. She was a participant in numerous dance competitions but it wasn't until turned 17 before she decided to take up acting. Dirty Dancing with Patrick Swayze inspired her to be an actor. Cook, who met Nathan Andersen while taking a film course in Utah Valley University in the summer of 2001, got married to him. They share a son. Mekhai Allan Andersen was born 13 September 2008. She lives in Los Angeles
