Marcia Gay Harden is an American actress worth $8 million. On TV, she's appeared in prominent parts on "The Newsroom," "Code Black," "How to Escape with Murder,""" "Trophy Wife," and "The Morning Show," as well as other shows. Harden has also been seen on stage in the Broadway productions "Angels in America" and "God of Carnage." "Marcia Gay Harden was born the 14th day of August 1959 in the La Jolla area of San Diego, California to Beverly the housewife, who is Thad an US Navy officer. She is the mother to a brother, and three sisters. The family often moved because of her father's work as diplomat, meaning that they lived all over the world across countries like Germany, Japan, and Greece. When they settled in Maryland, Harden went to Surrattsville High School in Clinton. In 1980, she enrolled at the University of Texas at Austin and received a bachelor's degree in theater. Harden was accepted into NYU's Tisch School of the Arts in 1988 in order to complete her MFA.
